It is essential that our designs and their costings are always bespoke to our client’s project and we understand the importance of a collaborative approach from the very first introduction.
Understanding our client’s budgets and presenting the best design to achieve their goals is always the first, fundamental stage in any project we undertake. It is important to engage a cost specialist, such as a Quantity Surveyor in order to obtain an early understanding of full project costs and whether a project is feasible and within the client’s budget. This should ideally happen within the early stages of the concept design in order to allow for design amendments if possible.
The walk-through at our client’s home at the initial site visit is a hugely important part of the process. It is always a privilege to be invited into someone’s home and as we walk through together, we can suggest new options for our clients to consider, and most importantly, we listen to their needs and wants.
We believe in allowing our clients plenty of time to take things into consideration, to really think about our proposal, and to reach their own conclusion as to whether they believe that we are the right fit for their project.
As a small practice in the Cotswolds, we strive to work closely with our clients and ensure there is friendly, open communication throughout the process. We also find that being a small practice ensures a real consistency of service and our clients enjoy the support of working with the same person throughout their architectural journey.
