There is no standard response to an architectural project, so we ensure that each of our designs is bespoke and tailored to your brief and we follow the RIBA plan of work which you can find on our website.
We hold an initial call to discuss your requirements, followed by a site visit to meet you and to gain a clear understanding of the site and any constraints which may apply such as Listed buildings, whether a project is situated within the AONB or a conservation area.
It is at this site visit that we discuss any initial ideas we have and offer insights into what may be possible, whilst also flagging any areas of concern. We work collaboratively with you to gain a clear understanding of the design styles you love, whether that be contemporary or traditional, and design details such as lantern roof lights, bi-fold doors, and window styles and frames.
As part of our process, we carry out a feasibility study, which considers whether the project is viable from a structural or environmental point of view.
Once you have decided to proceed with us as your architects, we then proceed to the concept design stage where we explore and present a variety of design options to you.
“Architecture is about trust. As architects, we walk away at the end of the project, but the client will be living in that space every day. Trust and collaboration need to be there right from the beginning.” – Ashleigh Clarke, Founder and Lead Architect
