What makes architecture unique?
In our opinion, it’s the combination of creative use of space and practical, logical thinking. Over our years as specialist Cotswold residential architects, we have worked with a number of clients to create contemporary structures such as extensions to traditional Cotswold stone architecture, which has resulted in some visionary and innovative buildings. Linking traditional Cotswold stone cottages to contemporary extensions with glass walkways to open up and flood spaces with light, effortlessly combines contemporary design alongside traditional features to give a visually stunning effect.
Our Unique Approach
Architects often talk about inspiring, innovative architectural designs, but we also take our inspiration from our client’s space and their ideas. Their aspirations, however ambitious they may be, are our inspiration to create unique architecture. The more ambitious the design, the closer our collaboration with our clients has to be.
As an architect, it is essential to be absolutely honest if we think that something cannot or should not be carried out for structural, environmental or aesthetic reasons and we will always work hard to find an alternative way to achieve our client’s desires which won’t compromise on either the design or the overall visual effect.
We find that if we listen to peoples’ ideas and give them time to absorb the challenge and think about things, they may well kickstart the solution. This is why our approach is both unique and highly collaborative.
