As Cotswolds based architects, we always ensure that our designs are in keeping with and sympathetic to the heritage nature of the surrounding landscape. Every architectural design is a balancing act – A classic balance of form and function, and while we’re ambitious in our architecture, we are practical in our approach.
Here, we look at a selection of some of our projects which are due to complete in 2022.
Extension to a Detached Cotswold Stone Home, Cotswolds
We designed this ambitious side and rear extension to a detached Cotswold home, making a sustainable choice to use Cotswold stone so that the original and new buildings felt like one home. The glazed panels allow maximum light to flood the interior spaces and have created breath-taking views of the surrounding gardens. Our client was keen to use the newly-created additional space for a more spacious living and garden room.
Extension to Cotswold Stone Cottage, Oxfordshire
We have developed a functional, yet beautiful design for this Cotswold stone cottage extension with clever use of glazing and a gabled roof to flood the living space with light whilst maximising the views.
Garage Conversion and Extension, Cotswolds
We designed this stunning garage conversion and extension in the Cotswolds. This conversion is a good example of responsible architectural design that unites contemporary with traditional features. The combination of traditional Cotswold stone with the contemporary glass and oak framed extension creates a beautifully unique building and interiors flooded with natural light.
Alterations to a Grade II Listed Barn Conversion, Cotswolds
We loved creating this beautiful design for this stunning Grade II Listed Barn Conversion. Our design features details such as conservation roof lights and casement windows. Internal features include a beautiful centralised fireplace, stone flooring and reclaimed oak beams, effortlessly combining original features with modern design, to create a beautiful family home.
Conversion of Outbuildings and extension to a Detached Oxfordshire Home
We are delighted to be working on this beautiful detached home in Oxfordshire. We have created a stunning design, which involved the conversion of a number of red brick outbuildings and the installation of a contemporary glass link extension to flood the connecting space with light and allow for breathtaking views of the landscaped gardens which surround this beautiful property. Our designs include the conversion of a number of outbuildings into a one-bedroom annexe and ensuite bathroom, a leisure complex comprising of a pool room, gym, games room, changing rooms and entertainment space, and works to include a new outdoor swimming pool.
