We designed this beautiful two-storey Cotswold stone rear extension with a double gable roof, a one-and-a-half-storey side extension and an additional larch timber-clad single-storey side extension for this stunning detached home in the Cotswolds. The works also included the design of a new replacement Cotswold stone garage with timber frame stable garage doors and a workshop on the first floor with roof lights, relocation of the driveway entrance and extensive landscaping to the surrounding gardens.

The project involved extensive demolition of existing extensions and replacement of a mono-pitched roof with a flat roof to allow for additional windows on the first floor, flooding interior spaces with natural light whilst also allowing for beautiful views of the surrounding gardens and countryside. The use of Cotswold stone provides a traditional aesthetic which gives a stylish contrast against the timber larch cladding which will weather naturally silver.
