Extension to Historical Building, Cotswolds

We have been commissioned to work on alterations and extensions to this beautiful historical property in the Cotswolds.  The building was entirely original, with only the single storey a later addition.  It was not Listed, but as it lies within the AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and in a conservation area, additional permissions were necessary.

As with any historical building in a conservation area, the architectural design needs to be sensitive to the surrounding landscape and sympathetic to the existing structure of the original building. We have used the renders shown in the images here to help our clients to visualise their new space in 3D.

We are very much looking forward to seeing this absolutely stunning project being completed later in 2021.

"Ashleigh has done the Building Regulation and Construction drawings for a small extension on a Cotswold stone cottage. We couldn’t meet because of Covid restrictions so we held meetings on FaceTime video. We found him very friendly and easy to work with. We provided a sketch of what we wanted and he drew up the plans exactly as we wanted them. "
